Only 5 uploads are permitted on this site, so a varied selection has been chosen, attempting to show a range of genres. Kevin played all the instruments, did all the programming and produced all the tracks (except where indicated - see 'General Pop' info below).

The dance showreel contains about 5 clips from various commercial productions.

The TV/ad/theatre showreels contain five or six clips each, so be sure to listen through. Many different styles are represented - quirky, straight - and lots in-between. Listen to these showreels whatever style you're interested in - they show a wide range - pop through dubby, trip-hop, electroclash and more....

Trk 3: David Juriansz - Kevin played the electric guitar, sang BVs and did all programming/production

Profile:

Kevin Edge is a freelance session musician, tutor, song-writer, composer and producer, with a wide range of talents and abilities; coupled with years of professional experience across many fields:

* Recording, engineering and producing music for artists and bands, alongside working as a professional session musician on guitars, and all types of keyboards/programming

* Front of house live mixing experience

* Producing and composing music for commercial release and for TV/film: including composing for adverts, programmes, soundtracks etc.

* Composing music and sound design/FX for contemporary dance performances, and theatre productions

* Remixing and writing/production for commercial/underground dance music - numerous releases out there (see below)

* He has been a professional tutor for over 10 years, teaching both privately and in schools and lecturing in colleges. Also, he has taught music-technology/recording and production at the SAE in Melbourne, Australia, along with plenty of community based projects such as at the Roundhouse Theatre in Camden, London. * A well-rounded player and performer (guitars, clarinet and all keyboards), Kevin has a wealth of performance experience in the studio and on stage.

* He is also a singer-songwriter in his own right, currently working on a solo album with other musicians.
