I am a 21-year old student about to commence my Masters degree in Music Business Management at Westminster University after having studied four years of Business in a business school in Paris. I am English, but have followed my schooling in Paris and have always been passionate about music. Although I am studying at university on Mondays and Wednesdays, I would still like to start working in the industry straight away.

Whilst I was studying at my business school in Paris, I was able to do some work experience in the fields that interested me.

My first internship was at Nelson Bostock Communications - a PR company in London. I learnt the PR industry through different sectors for two months - Warner, Disney, Martini etc. where I helped the Marketing team.

My second internship was a six month placement at Hart Media in Camden. There I had my own playlist where I plugged radios every week of singles and albums that we were working for but also dealt with several tours where I booked interviews, competitions and giveaways. This internship was the most important for me as I was able to go from a simple intern to being part of the Hart Media team.

The final internship was a one week placement at the Agency Group in London where I followed one of the assistants through all her jobs. This was very interesting as I was able to understand what was involved in booking tours.

I have also worked in popular bars in Paris and London where the music scene has always been vibrant and have remained good contacts in both areas.

I have just finished my four year degree at the ESCE a business school in Paris and am now about to begin my masters degree at Westminster in Music Business Management for a year.
