My name is Ben Wheatley, a passionate singer/songwriter/composer living in North London.

I graduated with a 2:1 in BA (hons) Commercial Music in August from Bath Spa University.

I recently completed 3-month work experience placement with SonyBMG in their TV compilations department where I was heavily involved with the construction and route to market of the following compilations: Live Lounge 3, Ultimate Street Dance, Chilled R&B, R&B Hit Selection, Singer & Love Song.

I am a hard working individual who cares a lot about music and is very interested in all aspects concerning its creation and sale but in particular publishing, royalties and how songwriters can make a living in the digital age.

As part of my degree I embarked on a nationwide tour with a band called 'Adhara' where I was the lead singer and songwriter. In 2008 I completed a solo tour in London and am currently booking another for summer 2009. Some of the venues I have played include: The Cobden Club, The Half Moon, Café de Paris, The Hope and Anchor, The Sugar Lounge and Bath Spa University summer ball with an audience of over 2000 people. In addition to the above my business partner and I were awarded a University Business grant from the Government for our business ruderingers.com a ring-tone website which specifically targeted the lads market.
