I am a 21 year old male, who is currently at university. I have grown up listening to teh music of Frank Sinatra, teh Beatles, Bab Marley, Blur, Oasis etc, and am of the viewpoint that the lyrics of a song or piece of music are just as important as the music itself. As of such I am a big fan of De La Soul, QUES and the Barenaked Ladies currently, and I have also written a few songs that have yet to be recorded.

August 2009 -November 2009 Booking Agent – Groov’Earth Records Agency

I have recently done work experience for Groov’Earth Records Agency, a start up agency for female cover bands and cover singers. This opportunity has allowed me to develop my negotiating skills as well as learning to improve managerial skills.

2006 – Present Entertainer

My passion in life is playing music, singing and entertainment through music and comedy. In furtherance of this passion, I have performed both in comedy and in music often in ad hoc circumstances. This has included playing at venues such as “The Blag Club” in Notting Hill, “The Lane Bar” just off Brick Lane, “The Angel Inn” in Highgate, “Madden’s” Bar in Muswell Hill and “The White Horse” just off Tottenham Court Road to busking on street corners in Israel and Oxford. Through this I have learnt how to gauge any audience that I am faced with and end up with a positive outcome.

2007 – 2008 Radio Presenter (BURN FM [Birmingham])

Whilst at university, I produced and presented my own show on the university radio station (BURN FM). Through this I developed my creativity as well as an ability to convey whatever I need to say in a clear and concise manner.


2003 - 2006 Hertford Trade Finance / Arkion

Throughout this period I have had vacation jobs at the above companies where I have developed my administrative and computer skills. I have helped to reorganise the office, including the computer system for contacts. I have also learnt rudimentary accounting as a part of my work there.

2004 Stellar Sports Agency

I completed a work experience placement at Stellar Sports Agency where I assisted with the basic administrative work. I enhanced my people skills through observing the staff in the agency attend to the needs of sports personalities.

2005 Leo Baeck Home for the Aged

I did voluntary work on the weekend by helping at a home for the aged. I advanced my skills in dealing with people through working and caring for the elderly. It allowed me to enhance my patience and sensitivity towards others. Furthermore, I gained a greater sense of respect for my elders as well as my superiors.

2006 – 2007 Gap Year (Israel)

During my gap Year I gained a variety of skills. I moved to a new country where initially I was unable to speak the language. During the course of the year I developed an advanced understanding and good working knowledge of the language. I lived in a variety of residences across the country, which taught me to adapt to new situations quickly, easily and independently. I developed an appreciation of the culture, which lead to me being able to converse with people of a range of nationalities. Through living on the Ecological Farm and volunteering for the Army I developed both my mental and physical stamina, as well as learning how to maximise my abilities in order to complete jobs effectively and efficiently. These experiences in particular help me to make the best of myself today.


2007 Moadon Loisirs Summer Camp

I spent one month working as a full-time residential youth worker for teenagers between the ages of 12 and 14 at a summer camp in France. I had the opportunity to gain active leadership experience. As the camp was conducted in French, I significantly improved my linguistic skills and now feel comfortable to use French in everyday colloquial interaction. In addition to this, due to the diversity of other staff, I gained experience working in an international environment.
