I am a ten years experienced event/festivals producer.

I worked for Cultural Organizations, Companies and I have some projects by my own.

Puchdrunk, UK 2009
Volunteer at Tunnel228.
With the purpose to gain some experience and get myself involved in the London arts scene I offered myself as volunteer to this project. Tunnel 228 it's a performing and visual art's exhibition organized by two well know structures, The Old Vic Theatre and Punchdrunk. In this project I was working on the exhibition set up, giving my skills to technicians and artists.

For the Red Bull Portugal I use to work in three different main events reporting directly to the Project Director:

Red Bull Music Academy LX Taster 2008/2009
Reporting directly to the Producer my main duties involved leading all the logistic affairs. Supervising and ensuring all tasks are completed and all contracted services and equipments are according high parameters of quality.
I was the main responsible to the Lecture Room, ensuring all teams involved, technicians journalists and lectures, are ready and on time. Ensuring any requirements from the lectures and pivot’s and production are accomplished.
I was in charge of supervising all works and contracted services from the beginning and until the project conclusion.

Red Bull Blue Elements Tour 2007/2008
In this project I was the Executive Producer reporting only to the Project Director. I was the link between all the teams involved and the face of Red Bull to the several clubs and discos where the tour occurred.


Red Bull Scra’Bisco 2007
Reporting directly to the Producer my main duties involved leading all the logistic affairs. Supervising and ensuring all tasks are completed and all contracted services and equipments are according high parameters of quality.

Festival Barreiro Outras Musicas.(Barreiro/Lisbon, Portugal) 2007/2008/2009
Programmer and Executive Director.

Designed and created this annual pop/world music event.
Responsible for programming artists, bookings, public relations and press.

Executive Director, Producer, Programmer, Fundraiser.

Implemented and coordinated new strategies to develop a new public profile and reputation.
Served as one of the principle directors taking care of all logistics, fund raising, artistic conception, services and public relations.
Out. Fest it’s an annual international festival, incorporating everything from new improvised music to the new electronic, from free jazz to declared experimental rock, from video-art to photography, and also including cinema and educational workshops

This multi disciplinary project gave me a great deal of experience on publishing, management, accounting, cultural marketing, costumer service, telesales and office background production skills.

Publishing of 2 magazines: N_NUMERO MAGAZINE –a life style and arts multidisciplinary magazine (1998/2004); Ópio - art and literature magazine.

NUMERO FESTIVAL– the annual Lisbon International Festival of Cinema, Music and Multimedia Arts, indexed in the book Culture Gates, Music and New Media Arts - An ERICarts Report to the European Commission, since 2000 (2000/2007).

PORTUGUESE FESTIVAL - annual event that promotes international cultural relations between Portuguese cultures in European major cities: London 02/03, Barcelona 04, Paris 05, Madrid 06, and Berlin 07. I worked until 2006 edition like executive producer, and I as responsible for an N_Records showcase inside the Sonar Festival in the 2004 edition.

N_RECORDS – main releases:
Kristeen Young, Breasticles - featuring David Bowie and produced by Tony Visconti;
Micro Audio Waves, No Waves - acclaimed by the late John Peel (BBC) in Sonar Festival 04, best album and best video on the 2nd edition of the Quartz Electronic Music Awards (Paris 06);
Portugal: A New Sound Portrait – Compilation for Portuguese Festival at Paris co produced with Lisbon’s Council (Fonoteca Municipal de Lisboa);
Mecánosphère, Lobo Mau.

The N_Books publishing house label, since 1997, with a several works like “Corpo Fast Forward" co-produced with Porto 2001- European Capital to Culture, the international thinking, art and literature magazine MUTANTES, since 2005. (I have collaboration also as visual artist). The bilingual book in Portuguese and English “Portugal: A Cinematographic Portrait”, N_Books, several authors, 2004.

Barreiro Rocks Festival. 2000-2005/2006
Executive Producer and Communication Manager (2000-2006)

Since 2000 I started with Hey Pachuco!!! the Garage Rock festival, Barreiro Rocks, as a partner and in 2005 and 2006 as an Executive Producer and Communication Manager. Today I work as Consultant and punctually as Manager to the festival director music project Nicotine’s Orchestra.
