About Me

I am a 23 year old guitarist/musician based in Leeds, a recent graduate from the BA (hons) Degree in Popular Music at Leeds College of Music. I specialise in performing, composing, studio work and teaching guitar.

Credits And Employment History

1. Extensive experience working as a performing musician and gigging in many varying styles such as rock, pop, funk, soul, blues, jazz, gypsy jazz and gospel amongst others.
2. I have experience performing as an ensemble player in musicals, most notably in the 2005 theatre production of ‘Godspell’ at the Northcott Theatre in Exeter.
3. I have extensive experience working as a studio musician across the UK & Ireland. I have recorded on many E.P.’s and demos with various bands recording both originals and cover material, including the recording of two full albums. Recent studio work I have done includes recording original material with the Irish band ‘The Maximals’ for their debut E.P. as well as session work recording radio jingles for LSRFM.
4. I currently play in & run the Leeds based funk/soul/pop outfit ‘Vibetown’, my duties in the band apart from playing is to arrange rehearsals, deal with clients/agencies and be responsible for all bookings and contracts.
5. I have been a working musician on both a full and part time basis since the age of 17 and have taught guitar full time privately from home as well as at St. Margaret’s Private School in Exeter, currently teaching various guitar classes at Leeds University Logic Center & working for the MJP Guitar Tuition agency.
